Ingredients:
- 1 medium head cabbage, shredded
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish optional
Instructions:
Put the butter in a big pan and melt it over medium-low heat
Add the minced garlic and cook for about one minute, until the garlic smells good
It will take about 5 to 7 minutes of cooking after adding the shredded cabbage to the pan for it to start to wilt
The heavy cream should be added and mixed in
Simmer for 10 to 12 minutes, stirring every now and then, until the cream has thickened and the cabbage is soft
Add the grated Parmesan cheese and mix it in until it melts and is well mixed in
Add pepper and salt to taste
If you want, you can sprinkle chopped fresh parsley on top, and then serve hot as a creamy and tasty keto-friendly side dish
